Jag ställde för länge sedan samma fråga på ett amerikanskt radio-forum och fick följande svar: If you you´re considering putting your duck antenna up on the cable that doesn't work well as the radio forms the ground plane for the antenna and you will lose that moving the antenna away from the radio....
